Registered Nurse (Rn)

The Maryland Center for Digestive Health, a Covenant Physician Partner, is looking for a Part-time Registered Nurse to continue our successful mission in providing safe, quality, comfortable patient care.

About the Opportunity

As a pre- and post-procedure RN with us, you will provide pre and post op care through assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation of the patient. As a center we see 80-100 patients per day. The work is divided amongst twelve physicians in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering safe, compassionate care

• Patient education

• Patient assessments and medical history collection

• Starting IVs

• Individualized care for our patients and their families

• Post-procedure telephone interviews

About the Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

• One (1) or more year of clinical experience in surgery or procedure healthcare

• Registered Nurse (RN) in Maryland or a compact state with an unencumbered license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Acute care hospital experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) or more years of related work experience in gastro or endo

• Recovery (PACU) / discharge experience

• PACU
