The Trinitas Department of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry, part of Trinitas Regional Medical Center and an RWJBarnabas Health facility, offers comprehensive treatments for daily stress, aging challenges, child development, and chemical dependency alternatives. With specialized care for adults, children, adolescents, and families, including provisions for mentally ill/developmentally-disabled individuals in a 98-bed inpatient facility, we serve individuals from Union County and across New Jersey. Providing over 200,000 outpatient visits annually, our services range from Mobile Crisis Units to Inpatient and Outpatient care, staffed by a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of practitioners, including bilingual staff. The Child inpatient unit is a 40-bed unit consisting of both crisis, intermediate, and DD bed availability. The nurse, along with a multidisciplinary team, collaborate on treatment goals that will be implemented to help treat patients with psychiatric and/or behavioral issues.

Qualifications:

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience
