What youll do:

As an RN, youll work under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager to provide patient care and handle intake and discharge processes for the Wound Care Center patients. Other responsibilities may include but arent limited to:

Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), training is provided
May serve as Case Manager to a group of patients performing the initial nursing assessment, communicating findings with the assigned physician, assessing the wound stage and measurements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, providing education to the patient or caregiver, and serving as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of patient care

POSITION DESCRIPTION: * Provides daily support to the State Veterans' Homes and Domiciliary business office staff and billing unit staff in relation to Business Office functions. * Reviews, analyzes and audits programs, services, forms and reports. * Confers with management and users to identify problems and improvements, and to ensure compliance with basis of accounting and with applicable FDVA/AHCA/VA requirements. * Assists FDVA Home Business managers and Largo Homes' staff and makes recommendations to upgrade/improve accounting systems. * Provides oversight to the Business Office Manager, Accountant II, and Storekeeper functions (filling in for these positions during leave of absence(s) or when vacant). * Designs, evaluates, recommends, and provides consultative services to Homes Program management staff, Billing Unit, Home Administrators, and Business Office staff based on needs and analysis of business office and home billing functions. * Tracks annual resident financial/income updates for compliance for all facilities. * Attends and participates in FDVA staff meetings and in-services as directed. * Participates in research of, and formulating responses to, the Inspector General (IG), Auditor General (AG), and any other internal and external auditor where a Department or Division response is required. * Performs other related duties in an effective, timely, professional manner as assigned. * This position travels at the needs of the Department, to include overnight travel.
