Qualifications of the Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Must have good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice

  • Must have at least one year of hands on nursing experience

  • Current CPR certification

  • Must be willing to provide in home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN):

  • One to one patient care in a home environment

  • Execution of physicians prescribed plan of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record

  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies

  • Patient assessments, coordination of care

  • Health, promotion, teaching, and training of family members

This is a full time role. POSITION SUMMARY: This role will provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. Will collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care. The Outpatient Surgery Department at Twin Cities Hospital is part of the 10 Million dollar surgery expansion project and opened its doors for business on October 16, 2006. The actual Outpatient Surgery area consists of a pre-admission office, 6 outpatient surgery beds, and 7 outpatient step-down beds. This unit is staffed with registered nurses and one licensed practical nurse. Twin Cities Hospital is a 65 bed general acute care facility that provides exceptional quality healthcare in a warm and inviting environment.
