The psychiatric inpatient 22-bed, Dual Diagnosis Mental Illness (DDMI) unit specializes in treatment of patients with autism and intellectual disabilities and varying medical complexities. Trinitas is proud to be the only hospital in New Jersey with a separate unit to serve this population.

Our staff are cross trained to work all the units within our inpatient behavioral health department. The psychiatric inpatient 27-bed, Closed unit is an involuntary unit. Patients are committed to be inpatient for treatment and can have varying medical complexities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience
