Precision Healthcare is working with a client that needs a Registered Nurse for a 3-month contract assignment in North Kingston, Rhode Island. This assignment is full-time, and the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health/Psych/Addiction recovery and/or accepting candidates with Memory Care dual diagnosis and Med-Surg backgrounds. This is a 59-bed psych unit, 3 open units, Not locked, and No restraints used. Aged from 21-85 years old.

Job Description

Contract Length- 3 Months

3rd Shift with rotating weekends

Guaranteed 36 hrs./week, approved OT after 40hrs

5-day orientation period. EMR Aura

Must have compassion for addiction recovery patients

Assess patients, and implement specific detoxification protocols designated by the Medical Director.

RN is responsible for recording and administrating all medications and must follow policies and procedures for clinical documentation.

Pay Details

Up to $50 to 55/hr. depending on filing status (W2 or 1099) DOE

With the possibility of Hotel and Mileage reimbursement depending on the distance from the location

RN Requirements

Must have 1 year of RN experience

Active RI RN License

Current CPR

Covid 19 Vaccine Card

The RN is also responsible for recording and administering all medications prescribed to clients. Must follow all policies and procedures for clinical documentation. Qualifications Education/Experience: * Ability to read, write, communicate and understand directions in English. * Demonstrates accuracy in taking manual vital signs. * Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service. * Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask. * Computer literate. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. * Knowledge of addiction and chemical dependency. * Ability to use defibrillation equipment. Must have excellent nursing skills. * Experience working in detox, addiction, and mental health environments is preferred. * RN license and CPR certification required. * Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing required.
