Registered Nurse (Pt) Heart & Vascular - Eatontown, NJ

Job Overview:

The Stress Lab Registered Nurse ensures quality non-invasive cardiac stress testing on inpatient and outpatients for various age groups, adolescent adults, and geriatric patients. Has cardiology experience and is able to respond to critical care needs. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, APN's, CMA's and non-clinical staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure

• BLS Certification approved by AHA

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Cardiology/ cardiac experience is a must

• Able to read and assess EKG's

Preferred:

• Epic experience

• Stress Testing experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure
• BLS Certification approved by AHA

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working, 9:00am

• 5:00pm

• Monday

• Thursday

• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring and respectful manner

• Responsible for assessment of the patient with telemetry monitoring

• Responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for the EKG stress testing area

• Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure, policy, and procedures

• Maintains appropriate logs and licensing for stress testing lab, and medication under regulatory guidelines

• Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies
