Registered Nurse - Pediatric Homecare

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work overnight shifts with two pediatric brothers in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago.

The boys are roughly two years apart, and have the same condition. They require G-Tube feedings, and both wear a Bi-pap device at night. One nurse would be responsible for caring for both patients at night. Mom and Dad do live in the home and are very supportive and able to provide necessary assistance throughout your shift.

12-Hour shifts are available, all nights are currently open: Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat 7p - 7a.

Pay for this opportunity will depend on previous experience and commitment level. This is a high paying opportunity due to the fact that the nurse will be responsible for attending to both patients throughout the duration of the shift. Mom and Dad reside in the home and are very open to lending a helping hand when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with complex medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube Feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, Diabetic care, etc.).

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.

• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

• Current BLS card.

• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
