Registered Nurse Pacu Per Diem Rotate

Summary Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients’ needs with the nurse’ competencies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Required-Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Preferred-Academic bachelor's or master's degree in nursing Certifications MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Required-None Preferred- Acute care and/or previous clinical nursing experience. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Currently authorized/licensed to practice in the State Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) if American Red Cross, must obtain American Heart Association within 60-days of hire ACLS must be obtained by the end of the department orientation PALS must be obtained by the end of the department orientation (Specific to Campus-refer to Attachment A) TCAR & PCAR within 12 months of hire/transfer date (Specific to Campus-refer to Attachment A) REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES:

Demonstrated proficiency and competency in acute care nursing Has effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment LI-LG2 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
