Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery Pacu

The Outpatient Surgery PACU oversees patient monitoring, evaluation and care interventions of the pre and post surgical patients in a one day surgery center. A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital.

This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties. Education/Experience Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited associate degree One (1) year Post Anesthetic Care or Critical Care experience Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017. Licensure/Certification Requirements Required: Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred:

Certification in a specialty area. Critical Care Nursing PALS required within six months ACLS required within six months Hourly Rate Range $33.00 - $47.86 Based on verified education and experience
