Registered Nurse, Outpatient Center, PT, 6A - 4:30P, Specialty/Non-Procedural

The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service.

Minimum required experience 7 months. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). RNs hired prior to 2/2012 are not required to have BSN to continue their non-leadership role as an RN.

RNs hired after 2/2012 with an Associate's degree have 5 years to complete the BSN degree. Certification in area of practice and life support (BLS, PALS, ACLS) as per department standard. BLS required. RN must complete preceptor class within six months of hire. 1 year of experience in a surgery desired.
