Earn $37.78/hour.

• This position will not start until July 1, 2024.

Position Details

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse is responsible for working with adults with serious mental illness and chronic physical health conditions. This position travels into the community daily, to homes and nursing facilities, as well as supporting individuals at health care appointments. The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse is expected to conduct assessments, serve as a liaison with psychiatry and physical health specialists, monitor medications, and support overall wellbeing of the individuals being served. This position is part of a team of professionals including a Licensed Mental Health Professional, Certified Nurse Practitioner and Certified Peer Specialist and participates in ongoing coordination with both physical and behavioral health providers for advocacy and continuity of care.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required.

• One (1) year experience - paid or volunteer - working with mental health clients required.

• Behavioral health experience required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and writing skills.

• Experience working with aging population preferred.
