New Graduates
New registered nurse (RN) graduates' benefit from a comprehensive, personalized support system. All RNs in their first nursing role are invited to participate in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. The program provides socialization and support, enhances clinical judgment, and promotes professional development.
We have exciting full-time, shift opportunity available on our Inpatient Services Unit at White Memorial Hospital in Monticello, IN! This is a 25-bed unit that treats patients across the lifespan starting at age 18 with various diseases and illnesses. We have swing beds that are also available on this unit for the patient population needing rehab services. Some examples of admission include post-stroke, MI, CHR, gastro, diabetes, neuro, and pulmonary issues.
We are committed to providing a comprehensive, personalized support system to new graduate nurses to help you transition to the role of professional nurse.
Unit Culture:
Admitting and assessing patients
Administering medications and treatments
Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
Operating and tracking medical equipment
Running and ordering tests
Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
Charting patient progress
Qualifications
Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
