Overview
Indiana University Health Med/Surg RN, looking for a diverse experience with built in variety? We have that opportunity waiting for you! This unique opportunity for Fishers new bed expansion growth coming Fall 2025 includes an early onboarding opportunity that will start at our IU North campus and move to Fishers upon tower opening!
Providing direct care to patients dealing with illnesses, injuries, or surgeries.
Admitting and monitoring patients.
Administering medications.
Managing medical equipment.
Coordinating healthcare plans with medical professionals.
Educating patients on surgical procedures.
Conducting pre-op assessments.
Gathering medical information.
Reviewing patient history.
Performing a basic physical exam.
Ensuring that all the required procedures are followed prior to the surgery.
Qualifications
Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
