We are a critical access community hospital located in the scenic Monadnock region in the heart of New Hampshire. Position Summary:
The Day Surgery Staff Nurse provides pre-operative and post-operative care for patients of all ages, undergoing a variety of ambulatory procedures including endoscopy, minor surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic outpatient procedures and treatments. Care is also provided to inpatients requiring major or endoscopic procedures and to patients entering the hospital as a same day admission. The staff nurse utilizes AORN Ambulatory Surgery Standards and Recommended Practices and ASPAN "Standards of Perianesthesia Nursing Practice" as references to ensure quality, safety and appropriateness of care for the patient.
