Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Ortho Full Time Days

Position Summary

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Minimum: Graduate of an accredited RN program.

Preferred: 2 Years Experience in Medical/Surgical environment/ BSN

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
• BLS, current Florida nursing license, successful completion of department competencies and proficiencies.
