This client hospital is in need of a RegisteredNurse to be responsible for the care of all age populations. This position is accountable for patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and makes care decisions based on the condition of the patient, reassessing and prioritizing according to individual need.
Who Will Be a Great Fit?
  • 2+ years of current RN experience.Post-Partum, Nursery, Med-Surg Mother/Baby, Antepartum
  • Knowledgeable in ANA nurse practice standards and meets these standards legally, professionally, and ethically.
  • Active Registered Nurse licensein the State of Vermont required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skillsto explain treatments and conditions
  • Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations

VIEW JOBS 10/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-12T00:00 * 72 hours per two week pay period. The RN advocates and utilizes the nursing process in the care of all age populations along the health continuum. The nursing process includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation derived from scientific, evidence-based knowledge. The RN partners with the patient, family, and care team to provide holistic care and achieve the best possible outcomes, recognizing that each plays an integral role in that care. The RN is knowledgeable regarding the professional scope of practice and the ANA nurse practice standards. The RN meets these standards legally and professionally and ethically. The RN role is flexible and makes care decisions based on the condition of the patient, reassessing and prioritizing according to individual need. Minimum Education * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Minimum Work Experience * Prior related nursing experience preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications * Licensed in the State of Vermont. * BLS Certification through American HEart Association. * Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, CPI) per specific department operational framework. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities * Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills. * Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
