Position Details:

  • Department: Intermediate Care Unit

  • Shift: Night (8 or 12-hour shifts)

  • Position Type: Regular Full-Time

  • Self scheduling/every third weekend

  • Schedule: 36 hours per week, including weekend and holiday rotations

  • Sign-on bonus eligible 20k

Responsibilities: As a member of our Intermediate Care Unit team, you will:

  • Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patients' health

  • Establish patient care goals and promote patient independence through education and support

  • Adhere to therapeutic standards and nursing philosophies to ensure quality care delivery

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school with licensure in the state of Illinois

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

  • Previous healthcare experience preferred

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
