Summary of Work
Registered Nurses within the psychiatric unit at the Human Service Center use the full scope of mental health and substance use treatment services - assessment, diagnosis, treatment, behavioral health medication management, and patient education - to create and manage individualized treatment plans. Registered Nurses within the psychiatric unit work collaboratively as part of an integrated team service model.
To thrive in this position, you must be committed to the behavioral health specialty with a willingness to research new treatment options, to partner with patients at their level and to consider solutions that maximize the patients' opportunities for success.
Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing and one year of work experience as a RN.
If unable to find fully qualified candidates, will consider applicants licensed as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
Position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
