Summary of Work
Position will provide psychiatric nursing services to clients with psychiatric illness and chemical dependency who are receiving psychotropic medications. Duties include nursing assessment, phone triage, case consultation, medication administration and patient education.
Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or registration in another state and eligibility for licensure in North Dakota AND one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. The North Dakota licensure is a condition of employment.
Preference will be given to applicants who have the following:
Experience in psychiatric nursing; or chemical dependency nursing and
Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes or courses in pharmacology.
If unable to fill the position as a Registered Nurse II, will consider filling this position as a Registered Nurse I (3061), which requires a current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or licensure in another state and ability to meet the eligibility requirements for licensure in North Dakota. North Dakota licensure is a condition of employment. A copy of licensure and transcripts are required if selected to interview.
