The ER department consists of a 53-bed Emergency Room that has 7 specialized emergency centers including a Level II trauma unit center. We will provide the best training and resources to those who have the desire to work for an emerging leader in ER services in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and function as advisor, resource, for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team.

Requirements:
BSN or ASN with 2+ years of experience required; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Maryland RN license; American Heart Association CPR certification; specialty certification preferred; Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Healthstream; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment.

Basic computer skills preferred. * Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Based on assessment of physical, emotional, bio-physical, and spiritual needs, provides direct patient care and evaluates outcomes. Incorporates the principles of patient-centered care. * Communicates patient's clinical information clearly and accurately in verbal and written format. Clearly and accurately documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record. Consistently demonstrates effective documentation practices and develops strategies to ensure complete documentation of patient care. * Completes timely initial and ongoing patient assessments, considering the physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and developmental needs of patients and families. When necessary, provides environmental support to expedite timely patient admission or transfer.
