Registered Nurse - Center For Pain Management

Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) has a great opportunity for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in our Center for Pain Management. The Center for Pain Management works with patients to customize a plan through a consultative, interventional and non-opioid approach to achieve their pain management goals.

The RN collaborates with providers and other team members to assist in maintaining a caring, safe environment while promoting a comfortable patient experience. What you#ll do day-to-day: The RN will focus on telephone triage # care coordination, order labs, provide clinical support for insurance prior authorization and utilize the nursing process to gather assessment data.

The RN will room patients, gather vital signs, medication, past medical history and allergy review. The RN will provide cross coverage to support the pain management procedural team and participate in therapeutic cases involving the use of sterile process, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and IV line placement for medication administration.# The RN will assist with patient comfort and anxiety support as well as patient education.
