This is a temp position working approx 6 months. Working some weekends will be required.

RN will be responsible for each of these duties related to COVID-19:

  • Intake and follow up of employee inquiries regarding travel, symptoms, and exposure

  • Collaborating with Case Management to coordinate employee absence

  • Following up with employees regarding return to work procedures for COVID-19 testing and/or public health procedures

  • Maintaining ongoing contact with employees during period of leave and/or illness

  • Keeping and updating records related to testing, follow up, and return to work of employees.

  • Monitoring trends in employee absences and communicating those to Employee Health/Quality

  • Reviewing CDC guidelines/changes In Collaboration with Employee Health/Infection Prevention and Quality.

  • Answer incoming Employee Health hotline COVID-related calls/emails and address per established protocols

  • Public Health and healthcare employer notification of positive COVID cases when applicable

  • Monitor COVID-19 Positive Case Log and provide support as needed to the designated providers that notify patients of results

  • Review daily lab result report to ensure that all positive results have been accurately documented on log and called to patient

  • Able to communicate effectively with necessary parties; while maintaining HIPAA guidelines
