Possession of a valid Louisiana license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing plus six years of professional nursing experience.
A baccalaureate degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience.
A master's degree in nursing or public health will substitute for one year of the required experience.
Specialized degrees less than a doctorate will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
A doctorate in nursing or public health will substitute for two years of the required experience.
Specialized degrees will substitute for a maximum of two years of the required experience.

Direct all nursing care services within a facility.
