About the Opportunity

Hours scheduled are typically 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (10-hour shifts). No weekends!

Registered professional nurse who, under the immediate supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, is responsible for the safety of the patient while in the preoperative phase and assists with the supervision of nonprofessional personnel in the area. By assessment of the individual patient and procedure, he/she anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment.

About the Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

• Georgia or compact state Registered Nursing license, unencumbered
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Associates degree or higher in Nursing
• OR Circulator experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse

• Ophthalmology experience

• Membership and participation in professional organization
