The RN Clinical Lead will assist the Clinical Manager with the coordination of clinical activities and patient care for the unit. Works closely with the Clinical Manager in supporting the shared vision for the unit. Develops and sustains an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice and customer satisfaction, while striving for optimal efficiency, productivity, and utilization of all RN staff to meet the needs of the diverse unit. # The RN Clinical Lead utilizes the nursing process, leadership skills and current evidence based clinical knowledge to assess the needs of the departments, collaborate with health team members to coordinate patient care and set criteria for the quality of patient care.

As a team lead, this position coordinates, assigns, and guides the work activities of other nursing staff. In addition to lead worker responsibilities, the RN - Ambulatory Lead also works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care.

The RN Clinical Lead systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care.

The RN Clinical Lead considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care.# # QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma. RN license required.

BSN preferred. 3-5 years+ of Charge Nurse or Supervisor experience.# Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.

Current ACLS certification or completion within 1 year of employment.

Current PALS certification or completion within 1 year of employment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.

Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials. Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations. Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.

Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel. Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.:# insert catheters, start IV#s, administer medications, and handle instruments).
