  • Registered Nurse CCU/ICU (Mount St Mary's Hospital):

The Registered Professional Nurse assigned to the CCU/ICU is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served, based on the areas of clinical practice. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital/staff information. Strives to incorporate the philosophy and mission of Mount Saint Mary's Hospital and to incorporate the Hospital's goal of: Quality care, in a personal manner with total regard for individual human dignity.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

  • BSN preferred

  • RN Licensure in New York State

  • Must possess current BLS within sixty (60) days from time of placement

  • Must have current ACLS within twelve (12) months from time of placement

Experience Requirements:

  • One (1) year of recent CCU/ICU and/or Emergency Room experience as a Registered Nurse

VIEW JOBS 8/19/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-11-17T00:00 * Director Human Resources Mount St. Mary's Hospital – Human Resources (Catholic Health) The Director of Human Resources of Mount St. Mary's Hospital (MSMH) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all human resources processes and initiatives at for MSMH in coordination with site administration and corporate human resources. This position is responsible for managing the Human Resource staff as it relates to customer service, employee relations, labor relations, and daily operations of the MSMH HR department. The Director of Human Resources of MSMH participates as a strategic and collaborative member of the CH HR team and each site's administrative leadership team. REPORTS TO: * Vice President Human Resources Operations SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: * HR Business Partner(s) SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM): Educational Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant course of study required, a Master's degree in said fields strongly preferred. * Certification as Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Certification in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR) strongly preferred. Required Work Experience * A minimum of eight (8) – ten (10) years of progressive work experience in human resources with a minimum of three (3) years of work experience at a managerial level. Knowledge, Skill and Ability * Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated strategic planning, analytical, and organization skills * Excellent and current knowledge of human resource management, employment and labor law and regulations, with an emphasis on healthcare industry specific requirements. * Excellent leadership, facilitation and mediation skills. * Ability to develop and work in a collaborative team environment. * Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access software applications. * Knowledge of Kronos, Position Manager and/or Lawson a plus.
