Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for an Registered Nurse (RN) Care Manager to join our Office Based Opioid Treatment Clinic.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Full-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours per week

  • Mon

  • Fri 8:00a-4:30p (open to four 10's after orientation)

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The program offers medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) to adults with opioid use disorder in primary care medical clinics, mental health and addictions programs, and hospital settings. The program is a funded by

the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Opioid State Targeted Response (STR) grant that was awarded to Washington State in the effort to better address the current opioid use epidemic.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide skilled nursing services to patients with opioid use disorder and their significant support systems.

  • Assessment, intake/admission, evaluation, triage, teaching, medication induction and stabilizations, and monitoring of patients in office based opioid treatment program.

  • Collaborate with team members and outside referral sites, with other addiction and mental health programs and primary care providers in assisting patients and supporting their referral needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active, valid Washington State or Multi-state RN license required by start date.

  • At least 2 years RN experience.

  • Addiction nursing experience preferred.
