Coordinates patient care activity on the phone and in the office and clinic, providing necessary support to the physician within established guidelines. Patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but are not limited to patient assessment, medication management, collaboration with healthcare providers, patient education, procedural management, and other duties as assigned. Previous cardiac surgery experience required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Minimum three years clinical experience required
Minimum three years of cardiac surgery experience
CPR certification is required
ACLS certification preferred
