Exhibits the ability to work with minimal supervision in the fast past Interventional Radiology Suite and Imaging departments (MRI, Nuclear Medicine/Stress Lab, CT, Ultrasound, general XRY) utilizing strong critical care nursing skills such as yet not limited to: Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, recognition and rapid correction of airway obstruction, hypoxemia, temperature and level consciousness changes, administration of intravenous analgesics, strong knowledge of surgical sterile technique, reversal agent dosing, onset and half-life, experienced with central venous access catheters, and administration of Tissue Plasminogen Activators (TPA).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduate from an approved School of Nursing. 1 years of recent IR or CathLab experience, or 1 years of Critical Care experience strongly preferred. BSN preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Registered nurse, State of Florida, current. Certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Adult Life Support (ACLS), ENPC preferred.
