Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - Norman Regional has an excellent opportunity to serve as a provider within our Primary Care Norman Regional Nine Clinic. Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner provides medical management of patients (assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment) for patients with physician supervision.
Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.
Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.
Actively supports and promotes the shared mission of Norman Regional Health System to achieve strategic goals

Qualifications
Education
Experience
1-2 years of experience preferred
Related Primary Care experience preferred
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification
Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing with Family Medicine certification
Must meet credentialing requirements of Norman Regional
eClinical Works medical heath record experience a plus but not required
