A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, the Registered Professional Nurse prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing. The Registered Nurse is able to provide direct and indirect care to patients.


  • Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.

  • Six (6) months experience preferred.

  • Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.

  • American Heart Association BLS - within two (2) weeks of employment

  • Medication Competence - within two (2) weeks of employment

  • Computer Competence - within four (4) weeks of employment

  • American Heart Association ACLS required

  • American Heart Association PALS required

  • Chemotherapy Competence (Oncology) - preferred

Shifts are typically 12-14 hours, 3-4 days per week. Schedule times will vary by location but most of our RNs work early morning (starting as early as 4:30am). Some holidays may be required. NO CALL * Acute (Hospital Services) - *What to expect: * 1:1 or 2:1 (max) patient ratio * Supports Hospital systems working with patients of higher acuity and co-morbidities. * Use your critical care thinking skills.* * * Not just hemodialysis*. *Acute RNs may deliver nephrology care across multiple renal therapies: peritoneal, continuous renal replacement and apheresis. * Autonomy in a hospital setting*. *Deliver dialysis to patients at a particular hospital or group of hospitals and become an integral part of their team and ours. As a teammate in an acute setting you work on your own almost all of the time. * Dynamic environment.
