Registered Nurse

Qualifications:

• Preferred Bachelor's in nursing degree and experience in nursing care of children and adolescents in the psychiatric population

• Associate degree in Nursing

• Current CT RN License

• CPR Certified

Description:

• Will be responsible for providing safety, physical and mental/behavioral health assessments, First aid and medication administration to the youth in the program

• Embedded in the healthcare teams are lead, triage, and program nurses

• Nurse will oversee the child's medical needs throughout their stay while collaborating with outpatient providers to assure holistic care

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to assure continuity, efficient care, and effective discharge planning

• Will conduct the initial nursing assessment, reconcile any current medication, and provide detailed and accurate documentation, assuring all requirements are met throughout their admission

Hours:

• 1st shift, 7 a.m-3 p.m.

• 2nd shift, 3 p.m-11 p.m.

• Weekend availability is a HUGE plus

• 40-hour/week commitment!

Pay:

$36.00 - 43.00/hour
