Registered Nurse 2 - 4 Kellogg - Mood Disorders

This is a Part-Time, Day Shift , 8 hour position
Unit is an intensive therapeutic environment devoted to acutely ill adult patients with mood disorders
Patients participate in a substantive group psychotherapy program
Offers team of mental health experts with specialized expertise
18 bed unit offers a comfortable, inviting atmosphere
This position is 8 hour days
Contribute RN knowledge in treatment planning, med management, psychotherapy, ACT therapy
Work with referring providers and communicate effectively with patients' family members and friends
Provide discharge education and planning to help patients develop transition plans
Position Qualifications Include:
Current Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure or eligible for IL RN license required.
Bachelors of Science (or higher) in Nursing required;
Current CPR-BLS required ( American Heart Association or American Red Cross only)
Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
Clinical inpatient Adult Psych experience strongly preferred
Analytical ability and excellent communication skills
RN Charge nurse experience preferred.
