Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian 2 for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center main campus and Our Lady of the Lake Ascension hospital located in Baton Rouge and Gonzales, LA. Our Lady of the Lake main campus is a 900-bed, Level 1 Trauma Center, Ascension is a 50-bed community hospital. The successful candidate will:

• Must be Registered Dietitian and licensed before start date

• 3-5 years experience required

• Nutritional support experience is preferred

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;

• work every 8th weekend providing hospital wide coverage;

• educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and

• precept dietetic interns.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master's degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience

• 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
