HHS Culinary began as a solution for HHS partners seeking restaurant-quality dining programs in the healthcare setting. We understand the critical role nourishment plays in the healing process, and we pride ourselves on our ability to develop unique, locally-sourced, regionally appropriate menus for each partner we servehealthy menus that entice patients, guests and team members alike, and help support the healing process

General Summary:
The Clinical Dietitian oversees the nutrition care of the inpatients and outpatients, performing nutritional assessments, managing the physician's orders for therapeutic diets and supplements, provides nutrition educations to patients and/or families, attends patient rounds and maintains clinical nutrition policies.


  1. Completes nutrition assessments and follow ups on patients with increased nutritional needs, in accordance to facility's policies. Document assessment of patient with nutritional goals and/or changes in status in the medical record.
  2. Educates patients and/or family members on nutritional needs as indicated.
  3. Educates Staff, nursing, food service employees on issues regarding special diets.
  4. Attend patient rounds on assigned floors
  5. Informs nursing and physician of changes in patient's nutritional status.
  6. Presents themselves in a professional manner in accordance to the hospitals and Culinary Nutrition Solution behavioral expectations.
  7. Adheres to facility's policies and procedure including the confidentiality and patient's rights policies as outlined in the facility's Policies and Procedures Manual.
  8. Adheres to facility's Emergency Preparedness Program, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other mandatory programs in the facility as appropriate.
  9. Performs other tasks as may be assigned.


  • RD and LD.

  • RD eligible in some cases

  • Bachelor in Food and Nutrition

  • Proficient computer skills, excel, word.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.

Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Chef/Registered Dietitianis to be the face and communicator for wellness and nutritional needs for Compass Group @Microsoft. As a member of the culinary team, this position also helps ensure the successful execution of the culinary vision. This associate shares responsibility for the ongoing development of staff, menus and concept implementation as well as conducting culinary tasting reviews to ensure quality and consistency. This position provides background and science behind the establishment and implementation of wellness initiatives meeting the goals of Microsoft. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Nutrition Focus: * Understands and executes Eurest food philosophy and wellness programs including Eurest wellness commitments and opt-in wellness offerings. * Supports account in meeting nutrition related regulatory requirements including federal menu labeling laws, local and state requirements for grab n' go foods, and others. * Plays an active role in educating account operational teams on Eurest wellness standards as well as protocols related to risk management of food allergies. * Establishes relationships and maintains partnerships with client health and wellness team. * Takes on front line customer communication in regards to wellness topics such as nutrition, FDA nutrition posting, allergic issues, and vegetarian/vegan issues. * Creates and conducts trainings as needed, such as New Employee Orientation, Manager Meeting Wellness Minutes, Vegetarian trainings and other trainings requested. * Becomes the local expert in Webtrition/Menuworks * Coordinates wellness events calendar with regional marketing and culinary team and aligns with client and campus events. * Customizes and presents materials as needed for wellness fairs, program launches, client meetings, café wellness events, tastings, etc. as needed. * Maintains accurate and up-to-date knowledge of nutrition topics related to food service, culinary and nutrition trends and wellness technology. Communicates to team regarding industry's nutritional trends. * Conducts regular audits and site visits of locations to assess account performance against posted standards. Develops corrective action plans, monitors and enforces corrective action on wellness and sustainability standards, nutrition policies, labeling laws and food allergy and celiac disease training. Culinary Focus: * Recipe input – Input/edit recipes in proprietary nutrition database software as needed. * Menu Cycle Creation for Concepts and Nutrition Information - Develop and analyzes recipes, provide reports of food costs. Assist with determining sales prices to menu items. Participates in planning menus and utilization of food surpluses and leftovers, taking into account probable number of guests, marketing conditions, popularity of various dishes, and recency of menu; seasonal required. * Station Standard Review - Observes methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner. * Culinary Tasting Review – Participate in Culinary Tastings and Black Box events. Support implementation of internal brands to brands standards. Qualifications Education and Experience: * Degree required. Advanced training/certifications or Master's degree desirable. * Minimum of two (2) years of corporate wellness/food service experience preferred. * One to two years related culinary experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Culinary Degree is strongly encouraged. * Experience managing large scale projects desired. * Must have knowledge of all HACCP policies and procedures * Requires strong public speaking skills.
