They will also assess and evaluate care/services provided, staffing levels, competence and educational needs of all employees and effectively coordinate and control resources. Responsibilities also include development and implementation of organizational and departmental policies/procedures. ; Qualifications Education: A bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university is required. A master's level in business administration, hospital/health administration or related field is preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration: A current and valid license as RN in the State of California. Experience/ Skills: At least five years of current demonstrated experience in management and utilization management Self-directed and able to work under pressure and constant change. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with medical staff, hospital personnel, patients, and their families Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to identify problems, generate and analyze feasible solutions, and choose a course of action The Director of CM department reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer Responsible for supervising, delegating and coordinating the work of exempt and non-exempt staff.
