TheSonographer I-CV performs and assists in performing a variety of procedures in Echo Lab, stress lab, vascular lab and patient care areas.
Including, adult, pediatric and neonate Echo's, adult TEE's, Dobutamine stress, contrast ECHO, peripheral vascular testing. This position treats / cares for patients of all ages.
Minimum 2 years acute care experience.
Must have current certificate for AHA Basic Life Support (CPR).
Theoretical background in basic electronics, hemodynamic measurements, exercise stress testing, cardiac sonography and vascular procedures.
Membership in National Organization for Cardiovascular Technologists is desirable
Completion of an approved (AMA) Program for Cardiovascular Technology or other allied health field with Certificate preferred.
