  • Bilingual preferred

  • Implement behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst

  • Maintain appropriate records and collect data and complete of treatment notes as required

  • Serve as liaison between students receiving special education services and outside providers, private psychiatrists, school staff, psychologists and community agencies

  • Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents

  • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations

  • Perform other RBT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited postsecondary institution in a related field of study and training

  • Possess a current RBT credential and be in good standing with the BACB or willing to pursue the credential prior to working with children

  • School experience in ABA theory and practice, behavior therapy, special education and regular education, curriculum modification, de-escalation, restraint and seclusion

  • Knowledge of the federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies

  • Familiarity with assistive technology, electronic IEP and data collection systems

  • Experience with discrete trial instruction

  • Experience working with students with disabilities, including those with autism or behavior disorders.

VIEW JOBS 8/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-15T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY The Laboratory Technician is responsible for assisting all commercial production efforts, refining the existing processes and developing new ones within a vertically integrated Cannabis Cultivation & Production Facility. The lab tech takes direction and independently completes tasks assigned by the Lab Director, with the primary task to monitor, maintain and optimize the production area under compliance with all State and local law. Responsibilities: * Maintains a sterile laboratory environment, strict focus on complete facility cleanliness. * Cleans and prepares extraction equipment and materials each shift. * Accurately maintains all laboratory compliance logs each shift. * Maintains inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the lab. * Operates, maintains, and repairs lab equipment under supervision of director. * Able to multitask responsibilities while paying meticulous attention to detail. * Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written, in a team environment. * Able to interpret and follow complex, written, verbal and technical instructions (SOPs). * Strong technical ability and able to learn new concepts and skills in a timely manner. * Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs, stand for prolonged periods, and work in a fast pace environment. Qualifications: * College education (preferably in the Physical or Life Sciences) and 2 years relevant work, or 6 years relevant work experience in a commercial laboratory or directly related field; synthesis, formulations, separation, lab tech, etc. * Knowledge of various organic extraction methods and processes coupled with documented hands on experience working within a chemistry laboratory. * Must be 21 years of age, eligible to work in the U.S. Preferred: * Proficient in the Principles of Biochemistry, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. * Knowledgeable in laboratory procedures, techniques and language used in a laboratory environment. * Knowledgeable in the proper safety and handling of harmful chemicals, substances and waste. 6 Core Values of a Surterra Employee Integrity - We operate in a regulated and unchartered industry.
