Overview

NovaCare Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Kalamazoo, MI

NovCare Kids is looking to hire a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (BT) to join our pediatric team in Kalamazoo. A Registered Behavior Technician works 1:1 with children with an Autism diagnosis implementing ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Case Manager. All technicians are supervised by the BCBA/Case Manager weekly. They are responsible for collecting and recording data based on observable client behavior. They receive and implement feedback in a professional manner and are responsible for communicating with parents and team members regarding a child's progress.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required

Schedule: Part-time, we are open Monday-Friday

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with an Autism diagnosis in the child's homes and our facilities.

• Implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

• Collect, record, and document data based on observable client behavior and communicate to parents and team members regarding a child's progress.

• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

• Some travel may be required.

Subject to limitations imposed by state/local/federal law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required

• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required

Required Credentials:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
