We're looking for a proven sales leader who can provide strategic direction and maximize growth and performance for a large regional team. Someone with experience developing and nurturing strategic executive-level relationships with key customers, partners, and other regional growth influences. A leader capable of not only driving growth, but also passionate about creating an inclusive environment that enables their team to do their best work. The Regional Vice President is a key contributor to North American Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) strategy and drives regional alignment with North American priorities.

This role reports to the Regional President, Americas and may be located in Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia or Boston.

What you will do

  • Develop, communicate, and deliver on a three-to-five-year regional strategy and plan

  • Deliver on the annual plan across all business units and build an organization that supports business strategy growth goals

  • Support key strategic initiatives related to talent management, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and creating and inclusive and engaged organization

  • Ensure we have the right competency and resource deployment within Rockwell and in conjunction with key partners to drive growth across all customer segments

  • Oversee the regional channel strategy development and execution

  • Develop and nurture strategic executive level relationships with focus accounts as well partners and regional influences

  • Develop the right strategy and be responsible for the balanced commercial and financial decisions including channel interests relative to services and solutions

  • Responsible for success of key commercial initiatives

  • Develop and plan productivity programs that improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Facilitate teaming with other regions to drive global sales growth and support global project activity for the accounts within the geography

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Additional business-related degree and/or experience preferred

  • 12+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or operations with five or more years in the industry

  • Ability to travel greater than 50% of time

Preferred qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering on strategy and exceeding results on software-based solutions with significant customer business outcomes on SaaS and ARR

  • Ability to work with and gain confidence of senior leadership level (internal and external) in a highly collaborative, matrixed stakeholder organization

  • Previous global sales experience

  • Proven experience in consulting selling approach for hardware, software, services, and solutions

  • Proven experience transforming and evolving organizations

  • Strong understanding of various channels to market and how each one operates

  • Strong strategy focus with continuous improvement mind-set

  • Ability to resolve complex issues in a creative and effective manner

  • Proven track record of:

  • Strategy development and execution

  • Exhibiting highest level of integrity, exceptional judgement, and bias for action

  • Aligning and influencing critical stakeholders
