As a Provider Relations Regional Vice President, you represent the voice of our Providers to the rest of organization. You are accountable for the full range of Behavioral Health provider relations and service interactions. These include managing the ongoing contract relationship and service delivery, working on end-to-end provider claim issues, promoting use of physician portal and soliciting future service enhancements, and training & development of external provider education programs. You'll design and implement programs to build and nurture positive relationships between and meet the strategic objectives of the health plan, providers (physician, hospital, ancillary, etc.) and practice managers.

Represents the voice of our providers to the rest of the organization and is measured on Provider NPS
Acts as outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned Providers, clients, state and market organizations
Acts as SME on complex contract requirements for our strategic relationships
Builds relationships with key providers, clients, and Health Plan leaders and serves as primary point of contact for overall Behavioral Health provider relations and service interactions
Develops functional, market level, and / or regional strategy and plans to support complex Health Plan programs based on client, state, and market requirements across all lines of business (Medicaid, Commercial, Payer, Medicare)
In cases where key providers are shared across UHC Medical and Behavioral Health networks, collaborates with UHN provider relations team to deliver an integrated provider experience
Oversees inquiry and complex issue resolution based on a comprehensive understanding of contractual agreement spanning all entities/service locations for the respective national system and / or strategic providers across all lines of business. May serve as a centralized intake point for provider inquiries and claim issues
Develops strategic partnerships that enable best practice sharing as well as collaboration on innovation
Anticipates provider needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them.
Navigates and influences multiple cross-functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment
Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems outside own team. Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and results through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff
10 years of Network Management or similar experience
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Ability to travel in local market
Behavioral Health Network Management experience
