Position:Regional Vice President, Market Operations

Position Summary:
The Vice President, Market Operations, provides executive leadership, strategic vision and business management for Lumeris and Lumeris' delegated entities / partners to drive overall solutions' outcomes. As a key member of the Market Operations team, this individual will have an opportunity to put his/her stamp on a growing organization and will be instrumental in creating a scalable, high-quality partnership model responsible for delivering sustainable population health outcomes in collaboration with health systems, payors, and providers

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and accountability for performance and results of Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) operating partnerships with health systems, payors and providers in a given market

  • Provides leadership by driving the performance and results of diverse functions through multiple layers of management

  • Lead matrixed teams of operators, clinicians, technologists, and program managers

  • Partner closely with client account leadership to ensure seamless interface to customers

  • Work closely with quality and clinical leadership to identify and prioritize key clinical measures and initiatives and then provide support to execute against these priorities

  • Lead efforts for reporting out metrics and operational performance dashboards for customer executives

  • Collaborate across stakeholders to ensure an effective strategy is identified for customers

  • Define and implement contingency planning activities and scenarios to ensure service excellence

  • Provide guidance and leadership to produce positive results for complex deliverables surrounded by ambiguity

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, reengineer, simplify and improve upon the customer experience

  • Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships

Experience, Qualifications, and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA ,Masters in Health Administration, or similar degree preferred

  • 10+ years experience working in cross functional matrixed organizations

  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a health care delivery system business; preferably managed care and/or Medicare Advantage

  • Experience managing IPAs and/or working with physicians and hospitals

  • Highly polished verbal and written communication abilities, evidenced by a track record of effectively communicating within the C-Suite (internally and externally)

  • Expert collaborator and facilitator

  • Demonstrated strategic and consultative approach to creating solutions and engaging with partners (including and especially C-Suite executives)

  • Proven ability to successfully build and cultivate excellent long-term relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to deliver results within short timeframes

  • Experience should include in-depth, hands-on exposure in dealing with multiple constituents and customers, including negotiations of contracts, and execution of local growth strategies
