Summary of Major Responsibilities
Working on our Urology Sales team, the Regional Urogenomic Liaison (RUL) will develop and implement a plan to maximize the utilization of our products in targeted accounts, while staying within budget, supporting corporate objectives and highlighting the delivery of our key selling messages. The RUL should also incorporate a high-level of service toward being the best in class for an assay provider. The RUL plans are used to solve challenging problems in a dynamic environment. The plans should emphasize the need to build and maintain comprehensive relationships and develop key contact and account records in our CRM system to manage these relationships. To do this plan, the RUL must have or be able to quickly develop a clear understanding of key territory-related clinical/political issues. The RUL will devote whatever time necessary to complete objectives outlined in the sales plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Territory management, planning, and implementation.
Deep understanding of competitors and market trends that are impacting product utilization of customers.
Sell company products or services, developing new accounts and/or proactively expanding existing accounts.
Develop and implement a strategic and tactical plan to maximize the utilization of our products in the most productive (targeted) accounts while staying within budget. The plan supports the corporate objectives and highlight the delivery of our key selling messages and includes providing high-level of service toward being the best in class for an assay provider.
Plans are working documents used to solve challenging problems in a dynamic environment. They emphasize the need to build and maintain comprehensive relationships and develop key contact and account records to manage these relationships. To do this plan, the RUL must have or be able to quickly develop a clear understanding of key territory-related clinical/political issues while devoting whatever time necessary to complete objectives outlined in the sales plan.
Successfully completes all training programs and deal proficiently with the concepts and complexities associated with genomic testing and products.
Invests the time necessary to maintain an in-depth understanding of all disease states associated with our products and the strengths and weaknesses of our competition. The RUL successfully uses this technical fluency to move target physicians and influencers to actions that result in patient access and utilization of our products.
Experienced professional with a full understanding of an area of specialization; resolves a range of issues in creative ways.
Comprehensive knowledge of company products and services, which includes a deep understanding of necessary disease state and product knowledge.
Strives for excellence in all aspects of performance and is committed to continuous self-evaluation and development. The RUL is valued for contribution to the organization, peers, and customers beyond sales/revenue production.
Attends various sales meetings and professional conferences around the US on as needed basis. It will be critical for the RUL to work closely with the sales management and marketing teams to understand and communicate our product sales and marketing messages.
Continuously be on the lookout for talented people to recruit and may be asked to assist in the interview process and other support activities, such as public relations efforts.

Ability to travel 60% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 50% of a typical working day.
Some lifting (greater than 25 pounds) may be necessary for approximately 15% of a typical working day.
Bachelor's degree in Life Science or related field.
4+ years of sales experience with a strong record of success selling/promoting complex products in medical urology and/or diagnostics or similar experience in selling/promoting complex healthcare products.
Proven territory or account management skills.
Possession of a valid driver's license, no more than two moving violations in the past 36 months, and no unresolved license revocation or suspension issues.
Maintenance of automobile insurance to satisfy any applicable state or local requirements with liability limits of at least $250,000 per person, $500,000 per accident, and $100,000 in property damage per accident (250/500/100).
Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Diagnostic testing sales experience.
Existing relationships with urology/oncology accounts and contacts.
