Regional Transportation Manager

Position: Regional Transportation Manager Location: Baltimore, MD Salary: Competitive Base Bonus Description: We're working with a top distributor in their respective space on a multi-site transportation leadership opportunity. This is a company with a reputation for having a solid culture and career growth opportunities. This individual will be responsible for a team of 10 supervisors, 80 company drivers, and have oversight of 6 smaller domicile locations. Responsibilities: - Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions

• Train and coach supervisors

• Develop relationships with drivers and customers

• Oversees weekly, monthly and yearly P&L statements

• Ensures on-time delivery of products and services

• Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (3-5 years) - Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations Skills/Abilities:
