ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Visit Garmin dealer network to support sales and training efforts (75% of time or greater)Partner and communicate regularly with Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and department leadership to ensure appropriate merchandising, and presentation of Garmin products

Execution of sales strategies by communicating regularly with Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and department leadership

Deliver training seminars to dealer network, and coordinate associated training activities with little or no supervision, exercising independent judgment as to how best to meet the individual training needs of the specific customer

Coordinate dealer contact strategies with Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales RepresentativeWork with Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and department leadership to actively champion new dealers.Travel with little or no supervisionOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in developing new training programs associated with the introduction of new products or services

Support dealers in special events, regional shows, grand openings, etc

Complete timely and succinct trip reports, dealer review entries, and expense reports

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all customer contact activities

Maintain excellent product and current marketing program knowledgeEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree in sales, marketing or a field relevant to this role or 3 years experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description

Must possess demonstrated effective presentation skills and public speaking ability

Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

Must possess demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision

Must possess the ability to maintain flexibility to travel (75% of time or greater)Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year experience selling or supporting marine, automotive, fitness or outdoor navigation electronics in a retail environment2 years experience developing and delivering training relevant to the essential functions of this job description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Our Director of Training and Performance Management will be responsible for the management and promotion of the development and culture for Fontainebleau. The Director of Training and Performance Management actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods for enhancing performance. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and is supported by our Training and Performance Improvement Manager. In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Curriculum creation and development: create curriculum and design effective training programs with the goal of maximizing performance. You must be able to create training materials, multimedia visual aids, and presentations to engage or Team Members. Design e-learning courses, career plans, workshops and more Evaluate individual and organizational development needs Partner with the Director of Talent Management to ensure New Hires are properly onboarded and that Managers develop their current Team Members through career pathing Oversee and mentor the Training and Performance Improvement Manager PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 5 years' proven experience as a Director of Training and Development or similar Proven Hospitality experience in a high volume, fast paced luxury Resort is highly desirable Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices Experience in project management and budgeting Excellent communication and negotiating skills Ability to build rapport with Team Member, Leaders, and vendors BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major Professional certification (e.g. CPLP, Franklin Covey, etc.) is a plus Familiarity with Apple and Adobe Suite products (e.g. iCloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Spark, etc.) is highly desirable Are you a returning applicant?
