Accuen is looking for exceptional Regional Trading Lead candidates with experience in digital display media optimization, deep analytical and data enabled problem solving abilities, and excellent account servicing skills. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and can operate independently at a senior level and grow their book of business working with their Omnicom agency counterparts.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Trading group is the core of our organization, responsible for delivering campaign performance, taking financial risk, and assisting the Client Solutions team in managing client relationships. They must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs and translate those needs into campaign objectives.
Accuen Traders are expected to employ and continually define the state of the art techniques in the online marketing industry through their deep understanding of digital technologies, a passion for using data to inform creative problem solving.
Regional Trading Leads report to the VP of Trading.
Master trading-related technologies, including DSPs, DMP, 3rd party ad servers and manual exchanges
Understand client performance objectives and develop successful segmentation and optimization strategies to exceed client expectations
Hands-on execution and management of day-to-day performance of client campaigns both directly as well as with the help of Trading Analysts and Senior Trading Analysts
Mine campaign, ad server, impression, and user data for key insights on performance and to identify opportunities for account growth
Work with the Product team to enhance the utility of existing trading-related technologies and define future industry-leading capabilities
Trading and Client Services at Accuen work very closely on a daily basis and are seated together in regional account teams and are both client-facing roles
Campaign management responsibilities include strategy development, project management, report delivery, and client communications
Work closely with agency account teams and brand clients to develop best-in-class solutions
Increase Accuen revenue and market share through new client development and upsell of existing clients
Provide strategic insight to develop long term execution plans from clients stated business objectives and implement those plans
Develop and present Quarterly Business Reviews to clients along with Client Services and Omnicom agency counterparts
Build and manage a small initial team of 1-2 Sr. Analysts/Analysts, and hire to 5-7 with regional growth
Display organizational and leadership capabilities to track progress, execution, and consistency of client delivery
Manage Sr. Analysts and Analysts and facilitate each team members development
Train team members and others on trading best practices
Develop relationships with other Regional Trading Leads to share best practices and lessons learned
Required Experience and Education:
Experience managing online Display, Paid Search, Social, and Mobile campaigns
Experience optimizing Display marketing campaigns across DSP, DMP, and Ad Serving platforms
Bachelors degree in quantitative-intensive analytical discipline including: Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Finance
Advanced Excel/spreadsheet capabilities, Macro/VBA experience a plus
5-8 years of work experience, with recent managerial experience in performance or direct-response online advertising
4+ years of solid client service/account experience with proven track record of client success
Proactive, self-starter, capable of setting goals and reporting progress against them
Exceptional analytical problem solving abilities, ability to mine data for campaign performance insights and implement proper strategies to realize improvements with minimal interactions and financial exposure
Passion for experimental design integrity and excellence including use of A/B control testing, statistical significance, deductive reasoning and logic, and ability to apply these skills in a field fraught with imperfect information and highly variable conditions
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and balance time across 5-10+ clients, multiple partner relationships, and internal initiatives on a daily basis
Strong leadership & communication skills
Strong organizational navigation able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work well with a matrixed organization
Ability to train and inspire people and foster a strong, cohesive working team by giving proper, thorough, and timely feedback
Data analysis in Excel, including Pivot Tables & basic statistics. Experience with SPSS, SAS, Cognos, Business Objects or other BI & statistical toolsets a plus
Advanced understanding and experience with DSPs, DMPs, 3rd Party data, pixel technologies, Ad Servers (DoubleClick a plus), Attribution, and Ad Verification
Strong business acumen and account management ability demonstrated ability to be forward-thinking and innovative while understanding client needs and the limitations of our business processes and technologies
