The individual selected for this position will:
Provide training when required to staff, including on-site assistance as necessary.
Provide technical and administrative guidance to managers of the Area Census Offices (ACO) in order to assure timely, orderly and efficient conduct of decennial pretests and Decennial.
Monitor the ACO recruiting operations by working closely with Census Partnership Specialists, Community Outreach and Media Partnership Specialists, maintaining contact with appropriate referral services in order to identify recruitment efforts and resolve recruitment and publicity problems.
Serve as a technical problem-solver/troubleshooter involving daily telephone contact and regular visits to assigned ACOs and assigned geographical areas.

EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 07 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: in addition to the grade 07 requirements, experience at this level may include assisting with the conduct of recruiting of applicants; experience making arrangements for training facilities; experience reviewing the work of office and field staff. Experience providing assistance in areas such as office automation, equipment and administrative operations as well as travel arrangements.
EDUCATION: Successful completion of two full years of graduate education or a master's degree.
EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 09 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes the requirements of the lower grades listed above as well as: experience monitoring and guiding aspects of an organization's recruitment efforts; experience monitoring costs and progress of projects; experience providing oversight to formal training and administrative programs as well as experience providing assistance to members of senior management team.
EDUCATION: Successful completion of three full years of graduate education or the Ph.D.
EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 11 level in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes everything at lower grades listed above as well as: experience providing oversight to data collection programs and projects; experience analyzing demographic data and information; experience providing quality control oversight for information collected in support of office operations. Finally experience providing administrative support and guidance to an organization's management team as well as field level staff.
EDUCATION: No substitution of education for experience is permitted at the GG-12 level.
