Regional sales management of electronic and industrial coatings, adhesives, and encapsulation solutions for Chase Corporation in the West region. Develop OEM and CEM selling strategies in various sectors such as automotive, white goods, industrial, customer goods, connector market and others. Work with direct customers and sales through distribution channel partners to grow the region sales and product specification. Assist with product selection for customers and channel partners in the region. Develop strong relationships with customer engineering and channel partners. Provide regional marketing and promotional activity needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Additional Responsibilities As Assigned)
Work with key direct customers and channel partners promoting conformal coatings, adhesives, and encapsulation solutions
Identify new projects and programs at key customers, OEMs, CEMs for growth of opportunity pipeline
New project and product development; work with R&D to create and maintain a pipeline of projects that lead to new product development and regional growth
Provide and identify pricing strategies
Meet opportunity target quotas and sales budget
Assist in marketing and sales content creation via various forms such as sales presentation and web content
Report market intelligence and recommended solutions to any competitive threats
Maintain lead disposition via inbound marketing software
Provide training on new and support of existing products to customer engineering and channel partner sales personnel
Work with customer service to coordinate material samples through distribution or direct
Coordinate application samples for laboratory for new opportunities and technical issues resolution
Management of CRM opportunity pipeline
Obtain and maintain solid knowledge of coating equipment and processes related to conformal coating operations, adhesives, and encapsulation
Education
BS in engineering or related science (chemistry/physics)
Knowledge And Experience
Knowledge in EMS assembly process
Knowledge of general EMS assembly material or chemicals
Knowledge of conformal coatings, coating hardware, adhesives and encapsulation technology
Proficient in MS Office products
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
Live in the western USA - Colorado or further west
Familiar with home-office work environment
Able to work independently or in a team environment while efficiently meeting deadlines
Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or other regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Able to communicate verbally and in writing in both English.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of CRM; Database/Spreadsheet; Internet software and Word Processing software
