Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Technical Representative who will be responsible for working with external customers to determine what data the customer needs on their reports and how to best display that data. The candidate will then write SQL queries and place the data on reports using MiTek's Sapphire Report Engine. They will also be responsible for enhancement, installation, maintenance and problem resolution related to workflow servers and applications

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Take customer support calls/emails on report writing/workflow and provide solutions and answers.

• Research open report writing/workflow related issues and provide solutions to customers and/or coworkers.

• When needed work directly with Product Management and Software Development to ensure proper correction of defects and implementation of enhancements into the software.

• When needed work directly with Technical Documentation group to ensure features are clear and completely documented.

• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions take with CRM and Test Track.

• Confer with staff, users and management to examine more critical issues with MiTek software.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Programming/Networking or 2 years' experience in report programming role.

• Experience: 2- 4 years computer related experience. Building and framing industry experience a plus.

• Computer Skills: Knowledge of SQL and FoxPro databases along with query and report writing skills. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and various networking environments. Knowledge of Terminal Server/Citrix environments.
